Jeson Huang

Audio Engineer

Jeson Huang is from the tropical island of Borneo, Sabah, Malaysia. He spent most of his teenage years playing in a church band and at age 17, their youth group released their first ever album. This was the start of his journey in engineering and has been honing his craft ever since. He graduated from Solent University in Southampton UK, with a bachelors in Applied Computing while securing 3 years of mixing on the side. He then decided to pursue this as a career. He continues to work towards becoming the best mixer he can.

He draws inspiration from Jaycen Joshua, Richard Furch, Serban Ghenea, MixedByAli, Mark “Spike” Stent and more.

Jeson also took home the title of “Mixing Pride of Malaysia” out of 1800+ submissions internationally in the mixing competition called Mix Madness 2020 organized by Grammy Award winning audio engineers Derek Ali (MixedByAli) and Young Guru.

Since then Jeson has worked with various local artists in the Malaysian music industry such as Joe Flizzow, Sona One, Daiyan Trisha, Marsha Milan and even worked on tracks featuring international artists like Yuna, Snoop Dogg, Jay Park and more. He has also proudly been involved in projects from Universal Music Malaysia, Warner Music Malaysia and Disney Records.
